The food, service and ambiance are all outstanding.....anything you choose from the menu you'll never be disappointed with.... the food orders are timed perfectly so youre never rushed. all the employees are so professional and its a place that you always want to return to....

This place will take your appetite from 0 to 60 in 5.2 seconds!! The veal chop & the black ink seafood pasta are to die for!! Debbie took great care of us all night!!!

Date night with my wife....Took her for an exceptional meal with helpful servers and a great atmosphere. We started at the bar as we were a bit early for the 8 PM reservation. Once we were seated, we ordered a bottle of wine and began with appetizers ... both had crabmeat and shrimp cakes .... wow they were delicious! We had pasta dinners ...my wife had the giggly pasta with sausage and I had fettuccini with shrimp and lobster...great dishes.. could barely finish...Lots of flavor For desert we shared mixed berries over vanilla ice cream with cappuccino

Pretty good! This place offers decent slight intimate dining, with great service and good. We had the baked clams which were absolutely delicious! One of our favorites to date.for entrees, we had their pizza and a pasta dish. Both of which were delicious. For desert, we had the napoleon which wasn't great. We definitely won't be getting that ago. Overall, it was a great and welcoming dining experience but it's the type of place you would seek out more if you were local to the venue. Will definitely return in the future.

We wanted the price fixe but we had to change the appetizer. We wanted the zucchini flower but they ran out and we arrived at 6:30. A salad was given instead but it was lacking. So we then ordered pasta dishes. The cacia Pepe usually has long spaghetti but it was served with rigatoni instead. The taste was good but presentation was off. Tonight was our server Daniel's first night working here and he is absolutely amazing and attentive. He will be an amazing server for this establishment. We will always continue to eat here as we do enjoy the food and service

Another amazing meal at one of my favorite restaurants from my childhood. Cafe Testarossa is the absolute best for all your Italian food cravings. Chef Billy always serves up some delicious meals! I always order at least one pasta dish here! We started off with some cocktails/mocktails and some wine of course. My favorite appetizer was definitely the Pappardelle Bolognese and my favorite entree was the Pan Seared Scallop with Parsley Pesto Risotto! The Prime Cut Shell Steak was also incredible and cooked perfectly. You can never go wrong with any of the dishes here. If you haven't tried it, you definitely need to because you're missing out. For dessert I got the Banana Napoleon which was absolutely incredible. Thank you to Danielle for being the sweetest, and our server Giuseppe! Can't wait to be back for more! I'm obsessed with their pasta! Love this place. Have been going there for so many years. The chef Billy has always been amazing. I love his fresh made pastas. The Grilled Marinated Octopus with Escarole is so delicious. The Tuna Duo special with wasabi cream is a must try! You can't go wrong with any fresh made pastas. My favorite is the Pan Seared Scallops with a parsley pesto risotto. So juicy. The Grilled Shell Steak was cooked perfectly. Don't forget to save room for the desserts. The ambiance is so cozy and comfortable. The service is always pleasant.

Café Testarossa is one of my favorite restaurants in Long Island! I've been trying to get a reservation from 5-7pm on a weekend night and it always seems like it's never gonna happen. I was able to get one for New Year's Eve for 5:30pm. My husband and I both ordered Figtinis for drinks and was surprised that it was pink but it turned out to be a light and fruity drink that we both liked. The calamari appetizer was cooked well and was still hot when it was brought out to our table. I had to ask for another serving of sauce because we didn't have enough for the order. The lamp chops were divine! I asked the waiter if he had a recommendation on how they should be cooked and he suggested medium rare. I liked that the entree also came with roasted potatoes and asparagus. The Frozen Nutella Cake was interesting. It has the texture of a mousse and was closer to an ice cream cake. It may not look very pretty but it tasted good. I wasn't a fan of the Cherry Vanilla ice cream so I would probably switch it out for Vanilla Bean next time.
